HIP & KNEE SURGICAL TOOLKIT

The provincial Hip & Knee Osteoarthritis (H&K OA) Surgical Program is recognized for providing high quality patient-centered care and for being the champions of health change in Alberta for over 10 years. This provincial program aims to guide, standardize, improve and implement evidence-based clinical practices to deliver the best possible care for hip and knee arthroplasty patients.

Since 2012, the Alberta Health Services Bone and Joint Health Strategic Clinical Network has provided leadership, inspiration, and financial support for the program. Central to the program are the impassioned surgeons, clinicians, health administrators and front-line staff providing hip & knee arthroplasty care in Alberta and analytic and project management specialists who continue to find new and improved ways to provide better quality, better outcomes, and better value for the province.
